Long Distance air travel advice

- Book Carefully – Book your flight carefully. Allow for connection time. Think about the time of day to fly and to arrive.
- Prepare – Get all of your travel documents early. Passport, travel visa, airplane tickets. taxi vouchers
- Work In advance – Book your flights, hotel, whatever well in advance. Check in online if possible.
- Think Jet Lag – Plan on adjusting to the time change.
- Take entertainment – Take your own entertainment on the flight. iPod, laptop, DVDs, books.
- Make the trip worthwhile – What is your goal for the trip? Why are you going?
- Pack appropriately – Take what you absolutely need. Buy what you forgot when you get there.
- Know your route – Find out about your connections and hotels. Where do you have to go to get to the next spot.
- Stay connected – Will your telephone work there. Can you connect to the internet. Can you call home.
- Share – Go as a group if possible.

Good post, however only some of the points were actually treated really good, I think digging deep for the topic to make it more informative will really help, will be looking forward for more informative post than this.
