Helen Fong

Helen Fong is an award-winning Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher who calls Halifax her home.

She is a Dalhousie University alumnus who started practicing yoga in 1998, and has been instructing yoga classes since 2006.

She was instrumental in the planning of the inaugural Thyroid Cancer Skills for Healing Retreat Weekend for patients and families where she served as registrar and yoga teacher for the Healing and Cancer Foundation.

Helen appeared on Eastlink TV's 'The Path of Yoga' television series and was a guest speaker at the 2010 Optimyz Live Health, Fitness and Lifestyle show, also televised on Eastlink TV's 'Podium TV'.

She regularly collaborates with like-minded wellness practitioners in the food, sports and entertainment industry, practicing Karma Yoga by giving back to her community. Taking yoga off the mat as much as possible is her true passion and path.

Helen teaches the following styles of yoga: Vinyasa Flow, Meditation & Yoga, Mom & Baby, Power Yoga, Prenatal, and Yin.
